combined percentage results gained over the 2 days. Classes
designated ** will only attain Championship status if 3 or more entries are
received, otherwise rosettes only will be awarded. (Please note that combined
percentage result of Class 13 and 33 will be used to decide the Festival
Small Tour Champion and the combined percentage of Class 14 and 24 will be
used to determine the Festival Big Tour Champion, provided there are 3 or
more entries in each class). Championship prize
money will be paid as per schedule below on a scale of 1 prize for every 3
competitors; rosettes will be awarded minimum 1 – 6 regardless of the number
of entries and to lower placings if entries are
large. In Prelim and
Novice Category 1 and Category 2 will be treated as separate Championships. Class Rosettes
will be awarded to prize winners in all classes on both days. Classes that do
not carry any designation will be rosettes only. Classes 15 and
25: no scores will be awarded and every competitor will receive a special

Training Bursaries A
minimum of 6 training bursaries worth €175 each will be awarded for riders
under the age of 18 (on Trotting Terrors &
Blazing Saddles Trotting
Terrors: walk & trot only (based on the Pony Club “D” test) Blazing
Saddles: walk, trot & canter (based on the Pony Club “C” test) These
classes are designed as an introduction to Dressage for children of all ages. Riders
do not need to be members of Dressage Riders
may receive help during their test and the Trotting Terrors Test may be
ridden on a lead rein. Introduction to Dressage An
introduction to Dressage for adults, this class is run along the same lines
as the Trotting Terrors above. BD Introduction A and B tests will be used,
judges may give marks but scores will not be added and a percentage will not
be calculated. Riders may receive help during their test and every rider will

Junior
(Riders under the age of 18 on 1s t January 2010), competing in
classes below Elementary. Juniors gaining points in Elementary and above will
be placed in the relevant adult league. Points will be
awarded in both Open and Restricted sections in Preliminary and Novice but
will be amalgamated in each grade, so only one Preliminary and one Novice
league will be run. Points will be awarded on an adjusted percentage basis. Marlton Dressage
Club members will be awarded one bonus league point for every show they
enter. The best placing
achieved by a horse/rider combination on the day in the relevant grade will
count for league points. All shows will count towards league points with the
exception of the Marlton Under 25s Festival. League points will be awarded on
both days at the Summer and Autumn Festivals. Horse/rider
combinations must attend a minimum of 5 shows plus the Autumn Festival to be
eligible for league prizes; (Festivals are counted as “one show”). Adult members
may take part in the Preliminary, Novice, Elementary and Advanced leagues. Junior members
may compete in all classes. Results from Preliminary, Novice and Elementary
will count towards the Junior League, results from Medium and above will
count towards the Advanced league. Juniors riding at Elementary level and
achieving consistently good placings will be placed
in the Elementary league. All classes will count for league points except
class 17. Marlton Dressage Super League 2010 In

Prize: Special
This
league is open to every member of Dressage Points will be
awarded on a sliding scale from 7 for 1st place to 1 for unplaced
in each class. Marlton Dressage
Club members will be awarded one bonus league point for every show they
enter. The best placing
achieved by a horse/rider combination on the will count for league points.
All shows will count towards league points with the exception of the Marlton
Under 25s Festival. League points will be awarded on both days at the Summer
and Autumn Festivals. There is no
minimum number of shows you must attend to compete in this league, so the
more shows you attend the better your chances! All League
presentations will be made at the Autumn Festival on Sunday 5th
September and riders are reminded that they must attend the presentation in
order to be eligible for their league prize. New for 2010: League and Super League points
will be published alongside the show results, making it easier for
competitors to track their league points. Leagues will be updated
after every show with the updates published on our website and they will also
be on display at every show. While we do our best to allocate points
correctly human error can occur and we are asking competitors to check their
league points and places on a regular basis. Cut-off point for any queries
relating to shows prior to the Autumn Festival is Monday 30th August. Cut off point for any
