14e) Rider Categories

Riders will be placed into three categories;

1 Riders who have ridden at CDIO, representing their country in the present or previous four years

2 Riders who have ridden at Prix St Georges or above in the present or previous calendar year

3 All other riders

(A) Riders in category (1) and (2) may compete at all levels at all shows including National Championships and National Winter Finals.

(B) At regional competitions category (1) riders when competing at Preliminary and Novice level will be placed in a separate ‘Open’ section and where possible will compete at the end of the class.

(C) At National Championships and National Winter Finals category (1) and (2) riders when competing at Preliminary and Novice level will be placed in a separate ‘Open’ section and where possible will compete at the end of the class.

(D) No restrictions apply to category (3) riders

(E) No restrictions apply in Young Horse or Potential Dressage Horse classes.
