    Fourth          4 points
    Fifth              3 points
    Sixth              2 points

League points will be awarded in all classes except Class 18 & 19. Please note that Marlton Dressage League points have nothing whatsoever to do with Dressage Ireland points.

Adult members of Dressage Ireland may take part in the Preliminary, Novice, Elementary and Advanced leagues.

Junior members may compete in all classes,  their result from Preliminary, Novice & Elementary will count towards the Junior league, results from Medium and above will count towards the Advanced league.

The best result achieved by a horse/rider combination on the day in the relevant grade will count for league points. All shows will count towards league points with the exception of the Marlton Under 21s. League points will be awarded in all classes at the Summer and Autumn Festivals, this means that league points are awarded each day, not on the combined championship result.

Horse/Rider combinations must attend a minimum of 5 shows  (for this purpose the 2 days of the Festivals are counted as "one show") and they must attend the Autumn Festival to be eligible for league prizes.

Leagues will be updated after every show with the updates published on our website and they will also be on display at every show. While we do our best to allocate points correctly, human error can occur and we are asking competitors to check their league points and places on a regular basis.

Cut-off point for any queries prior to the Autumn Festival is Monday 25th August
Cut off for any queries relating to the Autumn Festival is Sunday 7th September 1 hour before the prize giving. After the respective cut off points no further queries, regardless of merit, will be entertained.

League presentations will be made at the Autumn Festival on Sunday 7th September
Anyone who does not attend the prize giving will forfeit their rosette and prize money.
